Bogoroditsye Dyevo is the sixth of the 15 Choral gems in Rachmaninoff's All Night Vigil, composed in 1915. Bogoroditsye Dyevo can be translated as Rejoice, virgin mother of God. It contains much of the Hail Mary prayer. Here it is scored for Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophone. The piece is very calm and sustained, with a lovely feature of the Alto and Tenor Saxophone in the middle of the piece.
