Sammelsurium Op.2 is a collection of 10 piano pieces. Sammelsurium is the german word for a collection of things that aren't really related to each other.

Liebeslied is the 7th piece of this collection and was originally part of another composition (suite) which I decided not to finish. Before that it was a self-written love song which never was delievered to the guy I wrote it for. I liked the melody too much to dump it, so I decided to turn it into a piano piece.

It's style is kind of like a Chopin Nocturne, not very fast, romantic and emotional.

Level is advanced intermediate with 4 against 3 in some parts.

Can be used for almost every occasion.
