Written as blues song with a small hint of Klezmer modes and rhythms for my wife's horn quartet. The intro features the fourth horn playing in the lower register. The main melody is a 16-bar blues (so it's a bit 'jazzy') and features a solo section that trades between the 1st and 2nd horns. The performance level is geared toward a college level. This a great departure from the fanfares and classical styles you might normally be playing to add something new to the mix of your repertoire.
