Hey there! If you're looking at this you probably love bluegrass as much as I do. I typed up this arrangement for fiddle in the style of Kenny Baker. I've added my own bowings and fingerings based on what feels right and sounds good to me. Slides are marked with either a slanted line or the word "slide." The two slanted lines in m. 17, however, mean to lift off at the end of the bow stroke. This helps give a skipping sound to the last note of the measure and puts you at the frog, the perfect setup for the long bows at m. 18-20. I also recommend doing a "lift off" at the end of the half note in m. 23. The form is ABCB, and on your last pass through the progression follow the "To Coda" to the Coda / Ending. If you want additional help feel free to contact me at string.baron@gmail.com for an online fiddle lesson. Enjoy!
