This is an arrangement of Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik for unaccompanied viola.Written in 1787 for a chamber ensemble, the serenade (especially the first movement) has become one of the most famous pieces in the world. The title, written in German, translates roughly to "a little serenade," a nod to its relaxing, calm and free nature. As a violist, I hope that you enjoy this piece as much as I had writing and playing it. Cheers!
