Ángel Villoldo (16 February 1861 -14 October 1919) was an Argentinian born musician who was one of the pioneers of the tango.

This piece has been transcribed and arranged from the original recording to be performed as a recital piece for accompanied flute. It is of moderate difficulty and suitable for a student studying at grade 4 -5 level. It also provides an ideal aid to sight reading of syncopated rhythms and slurring technique.
