An interesting snippet of information I happened upon about old Mozart pertaining to this piece, he was attending a concert series in Vienna in 1781 and wrote to his father Leopold that " nothing is played but Handel and Bach!". So after studying works by the Bach family he wrote this piece, naturally he composed the fugue first in his head (as you do!!), then wrote it down while he was thinking about the Prelude!!
So here is the Fugue for three competent Clarinettists, I hope you enjoy playing it in a generous acoustic!!
