Odeon, Brazilian tango published in 1909. During Nazareth's lifetime, Odeon was not a particularly prominent piece, having only been recorded in 1912, by the composer himself. But a few decades after the composer's death, Odeon became his greatest success, especially after receiving lyrics from the poet Vinicius de Moraes in the 1960s. By 2012, it has reached the impressive mark of 325 commercial recordings, made in several countries.Today Odeon is one of the most well-known choros of Brazil and of the world, next to Apanhei-te, Cavaquinho and Brejeiro. This is a video of this beautiful piece. https://youtu.be/UWtmW7tejrI
