"Back to School 2015" Probably "Vira Variations" matches very well with the "Back to School 2015" project. "Vira" is an Old Dance from the traditional music heritage of Portugal. I wrote this Variations for a ballet performance. This short piece allows different interpretations, so I decided to leave the expression and the bowing technic entirely to the taste, the intention, the creativity and the school of the players. It can be easily played with a mixed group, of absolute "easy/beginners" and "early/intermediates" altogether. It is a very pleasant piece to hear, and due to its flexibility it can be played in recitals and all kinds of other events. Thanks a lot for taking Your time to read the text and to look at the score. The score and the sound sample where produced with Finale and Garritan instruments.
