Product Description

One of the best-loved songs from Disney's 1992 smash-hit film Aladdin arranged for 3 trumpets. This arrangement is suitable for early intermediate and intermediate students, especially students learning together in pairs or trios..

The 1st part goes up to top line F (concert Eb) on the stave and the 2nd part to top space E (concert D). The top two parts alternate between the main melody and an accompaniment part which mirrors the tune's rhythm. The 3rd part is a more rhythmically challenging accompaniment with some hints of chromaticism - perfect for holding the interest of either a student who needs stretching musically or a teacher!

The arrangement lasts approximately 2 minutes 45 seconds including the D.S., or 2 minutes if this repeat is omitted.

Although arranged for 3 trumpets, this arrangement would be suitable for a range of other treble-clef instruments, such as clarinets or saxophones.

James Brady is a musician from the UK with an MA (Hons) in Music from the University of Cambridge and an MMus in Jazz Trumpet Performance from the Guildhall School of Music. His arrangements have been performed by the likes of Kate Nash and the Wilderness Orchestra, award-winning jazz vocalist Liane Carroll and the Guildhall Jazz Band.
