This arrangement of the Ukrainian National Anthem "Shche ne Vmerla Ukrainy i Slava I Voila" was written during the recent invasion of Ukraine. (March 2022). Emmy-award-winning composer, Kurt Bestor, known for his iconic song of peace, "Prayer of the Children" has reimagined this beloved anthem to reflect the many emotions that must be felt by the Ukrainian people as they deal with this war; intense sadness, a glimmer of hope, national pride, and hope for a better day.

(note: Though required by sheetmusicplus to set a minimum price for this piece, Bestor hopes that choir directors will feel free to make copies for their choir free of charge and disseminate the piece among their colleagues so that the message of freedom and hope found in the lyrics will be felt by as many people as possible.)
