THREE LITTLE PIECES FOR PIANO By Joe Procopio Three Little Pieces For Piano are designed to help the beginner succeed at stretching, playing Jazz and playing with both hands at the same time. The first piece is called STRETCHING LITTLE FINGERS and it features a charming melody that invites the young player to stretch the distance between the 2nd and 5th fingers in the Right hand and the 1st and 2nd fingers in the Left. The second piece is entitled BA DOO BA. A fun name for one of my Jazz songs. Here it is in a new simplified arrangement for piano that introduces the player to playing Jazz. Jazz rhythm is explained and an easy but well structured piece allows anyone to sound like a "great" Jazz piano player. Lastly, I have included one of the most beautiful traditional melodies ever written. It is known as LA PALOMA. The arrangement here is one of the easiest possible. The beauty of the melody and harmony will motivate you to overcome any difficulty in learning to play with both hands. It is also tailored to have both hands together without each hand opposing the other; allowing the beginning musician to get the "feeling" of playing piano with both hands at the same time. It is important to note that every effort was made to ensure that each pIece does not sound like an exercise. Joe Procopio is the author of the very best and least expensive music ebooks worldwide including the award winning BASIC MUSIC THEORY.
