Maurice Ravel wrote his string quartet in 1903 and it is now considered to be a standard in the repertoire. Its second movement features a fun little scherzo followed by a slow, lyrical, wayward song. The scherzo returns completing the form. In this arrangement, Ive used changing orchestration reminiscent of Ravels scoring (and also a little bit of his contemporary, Debussy).
