Debussy's Clair de Lune from Suite Bergamasque(1890) is one of the most popular pieces composed for solo piano. In this arrangement for eight horns and tuba (or nine horns), different timbres are notated, including the sound of the straight mute, stop mute, and hand mute. This beautiful (yet challenging) arrangement is great for collegiate horn ensembles. A horn 9 part is included as an optional replacement for tuba.
