The title Mass Fragments was chosen because this is not a liturgically complete setting of the mass. However, the music that is here is suitable for religious services or the concert hall. It was my intention simply to write music that reflects my current interpretation of the texts. Lots of interesting contrapuntal writing and harmony. The Gloria and Credo are the movements that are not textually complete.
