An exciting arrangement of this Leonard Cohen favourite for a flexible Wind Ensemble - typically 2 flutes, 2 clarinets, 2 soprano saxes, 2 alto saxes, 2 tenor saxes, baritone sax and drum kit. The second parts are significantly easier that the first parts to accommodate mixed ability players. The 2nd flute part can be played on Oboe, the soprano sax parts can be played on cornets and the bass clef editions of the lower parts are also included for optional bassoon, bass guitar etc as well as a Bb Bass Clarinet part. The flowing accompanying quavers move around between clarinet, alto and tenor saxophones whilst the melodic line is exchanged as the tension builds.
