Risky Business is a catchy jazz song I wrote to evoke the sound of the 1920s/1930s golden age of songwriting. It is based on a bass riff and very suitable for performance either at a cabaret by a Dixieland jazz band. I have performed it many times with my (now ex-) band of the same name in many venues, including weddings, street and valentine-night parties, literary events, even charity cricket matches! It has even been chosen for broadcast on BBC Radio 4's 'Desert Island Discs'! The score available here features a piano part, the chords and of course the vocal line.
