An Irish Blessing is an original setting of the traditional text and was written for my cousin's wedding. The piece is about 6:00-6:30 (depending on the tempo of which it is performed) and is very accessible and appropriate for weddings and other sacred and non-sacred performances. The voice part is in a very comfortable range for either male or female voice (C4-G5). There are 3 C flutes, 1 alto, 1 bass, and 1 optional contrabass part. There are minor divided sections in each part, and the piece works just fine without the contrabass flute. Add this piece to your Irish themed flute choir concert!
