This piece is often pitched rather high, such that any vocal as well as the piano solo versions sound thin. Here is an arrangement in the key of C (!) with the melody in a proper octave for the best resonance. It is quite suitable for a group-sing on this piece, as the melody is within the typical limits of average vocal range. It was designed to do this, in fact, and has been "field-tested" as such! No lyrics or chord symbols, just a good solid melody with rolling octaves and 5ths in the LH accompaniment. Pedal as you see fit. OK for organ or harpsichord as well.
