The first of 25 etudes for piano, in a wide variety of styles and moods, but all using mirrored shapes and fingerings, symmetry and/or mirrored intervals, and featuring a tightly-controlled set of intervals. Each title is a number to show the featured interval. 0.5 is of course the half-step, and its inverse, the major 7th. Black and white key matching topography abounds here, and the entire piece is mirrored in shape and fingering. Fun stuff to play! approx. running time as suggested tempo is 2 mins 25 secs. Audio clip is complete. Look for the rest of the group, and a complete volume, to follow. MBB
