Canon in D for a Cello Quartet is a beautiful arrangement of the classic wedding piece by Pachelbel. This piece can be a great substitute for the boring and overused quartet version at weddings. This arrangement is very similar to the original since the first 3 parts play the staggered entrance melody and the fourth part plays the low bass notes. The first three parts clearly similar and are of intermediate-advanced level since they are written in both bass and tenor clef. The fourth part is the easiest and can be played by beginner-intermediate players. Visit http://matteodelfino.wordpress.com/category/sheet-music/ for other sheet music titles and recordings!
