Each study has a simple melody (which itself is an easy study) and two variations. The first two tunes are originals by Darren Lloyd. The second two studies have been written over the chords of well know jazz progressions, the first being 'Have you met miss Jones?' the second being 'Pent up house' by Sonny Rollins.
