The Bluebells of Scotland is the usual modern name for a Scottish folk song (Roud # 13849). It was written by Dora Jordan, an English actress and writer and was first published in 1801. This arrangement was requested by hornist Denny McGinn, and is based on my arrangement for flute and piano written for the wedding of Thomas Hall and Nancy Pierce. Of medium difficulty, this makes available for horn the tune which was famously arranged for virtuoso trombone by Arthur Pryor. Enjoy! This arrangement is copyrighted 2019 by Spike Maiden Müller.
