A very suitable violin piece for the young beginning student and so suitable for Halloween. The piece comes with teaching suggestions in that the scale of the piece is offered along with the rhythms used in the piece. I suggest that the teacher begin with a simple G or D Major scale, working on the rhythms suggested and then progress to the actual scale of the piece for those same rhythms. An excellent way to introduce the piece to the young student.
