Movement 1 - Optional: suspended cymbal played tremolo with soft beaters until bar 28 Movement 3 - Optional: unpitched rhythmic/pulsed percussion ad lib. until bar 48 Evanescence is the derivative noun of evanescent, the dictionary definition of which is: passing out of sight, memory, or existence; quickly fading or disappearing.
