Also known as Air on the G string. This is an easy arrangement for piano solo. The key has been changed to C major and the rhythm is simplified to the double of its lenght for a better reading and the left hand only plays a simple bass. The secondary voices have been eliminated but in some places are included to fill empty spaces. The principal melody is almost as the original. The fingering is meticulously written. There is another version more similar to the original work in D major and with the original bass line, published also by Daniel C. M. You can find such arrangement as "Air for piano (simplified)"
