The Entertainer is a ragtime classic and a must have in any
musicians
repertoire.
This carefully reduced arrangement of the first and second theme allows
access for
intermediate brass, clarinet and bassoon players, but still retains the
style and musical flow of the original. Difficulty is about grade 4
(ABRSM), requiring a range of two octaves from bottom G (F for concert
pitch bass clef) just below middle C.
This arrangement requires any two equal players with the pair
of instruments needing to be in the same key and pitch, e.g two
trumpets, cornet and flugelhorn, two tenor horns, euphonium &
trombone, two tubas, two clarinets, bassoon & tuba, two Eb basses
etc.
