Product Description

Lowell Mason, the Father of American Church music, adapted G.F. Handels sopranoaria from the 1728 opera Siroe for the words published in the late 1600s by Nahum Tate describing the Annunciation to the Shepherds. The European melody is called Winchester Old.

Arranged for Lever or Pedal harps, it is in the key of D. There are four verses. The melody is divided evenly between parts. Dynamics are clearly marked.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
