This shortened arrangement of Beethoven's Emperor piano concerto (second movement only) is aimed at the intermediate piano student. The orchestra and the piano solo parts are melded together into a single texture and the keys have been transposed to accommodate the intermediate student. Some notes have been altered to avoid difficult skips and the entire movement has been diluted to forty measures. The intent is to give the interested student a chance to "experience" this masterpiece in a simplified yet tasteful format.
