Product Description

This arrangement of Away in a Manger is appropriate for more solemn and traditional Christmas Eve services, yet pleasant enough for a holiday dinner party or school recital. Short and sweet; its economical length is perfect for a developing ensemble and/or a collage program featuring several compositions. For the right group this could be memorized and played "on the go" in the lobby before a performance or for caroling.

Flexible instrumentation allows for any instrument to play any of the four parts. Parts may be doubled to accommodate additional players. A full score will show you all of the parts included, (just as they are on the page), and a second SATB "limited" score giving you the gist of what is contained in the various parts.

Although the arrangement is designed for early intermediate players, a more advanced group could keep it handy as an "easy reader" for holiday settings where longer sets are necessary.
