Billy Vaughn and his orchestra were very successful in the 60's featuring two saxophones in harmony as the lead in many of the orchestrations and also favored a shuffle boogie type rhythm. That formula still sounds really good today as illustrated in this chart for 4 saxes, bass and drums. You'll find it works quite well with just the saxes if need be. It is really quite playable by even early intermediate groups but even the professional quartets will find this a pleasant diversion from their more challenging jazz or classical repertoire.
