In 1914 Sigmund Romberg was hired by the Shubert brothers to write music for their Broadway theater shows. Romberg wrote "Ragtime Arabian Nights" for the Broadway revue "The Whirl of the World", presented in the Shuberts' Winter Garden Theater", that same year. This is a charming tune, with the verse in a minor key, switching to the relatively major to start the chorus. Our arrangement of this splits melodic responsibilities between the trumpets and French horn. Arranged for brass quintet (two Bb trumpets, French horn, trombone, and tuba). Performance time is approximately 3:00. Visit our website, www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com, for a catalog of our arrangements available through sheetmusicplus.com.
