Anton Bruckner's "Trosterin Musik" was originally scored for men's choir, but, like much of Bruckner's music, this chorale sounds wonderful performed by low brass. The contrasting dynamics and moods of the piece provide a great opportunity to show off your ensemble's musicality. This version of it is transcribed for 4 trombones, with French horn substitute parts for trombones 1 and 2, baritone treble clef substitute parts for all 4 trombone parts, and a tuba substitute part for trombone 4. Performance time is approximately 2 minutes 15 seconds. Visit our website, www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com, for a catalog of our arrangements available through sheetmusicplus.com.
