This arrangement begins slowly, then starts to swing at a laid-back tempo, and finally swings at a faster tempo. It's the familiar New Orleans funeral routine: slow on the way out to the cemetery, and fast on the way back. It's suitable for intermediate players and up; professional ensembles will enjoy playing it. I've conducted it with my own community orchestra, and found that It works very well for teaching swing. There is a supportive piano part which, though optional, will work very well if your string bass player doesn't show. Duration: 2 minutes, 25 seconds
