Wouldn't you love to have a little butterfly come sit down next to you and talk to you? That is what the butterfly in this song does! This Late Beginner level song is a great song to introduce young pianists to using two hands to play harmony! While the Treble hand plays the beautiful melody and tells the adventure of the "singer" and the butterfly, covering the octave from Middle C up, the left hand plays a simple harmony from Middle C down to G, with one transition up to D. Large font is used for easy reading. Fingering is suggested, although teachers are welcome to use alternate fingering. This song would be beautiful for Festival entries, recitals or concerts. This is sure to be a favourite with your students!
