This fun piece takes a simple melody and uses it in three different octaves of the piano. Starting with Big Brown Bear's octave in the bass, then moving to Mama Bear's octave at Middle C and on to Baby Bear's octave. It is a great song for students beginning to learn the C position in the bass, for teaching the concept of big things mean lower notes, small things mean higher notes, as well as basic dynamics. It is written in C Major. This is a favourite song with my beginner students.
