These are hymn duets for trumpet that are meant to be fun to play and also 100% appropriate for church services.Blesses Assurance Trumpet Hymn Duet varies from the series just a little, so we cannot say that it is 100% appropriate for traditional church services. It is closer to 97% appropriate, because of some chromaticism added to the arrangement that is not in the original hymn. All of the other Trumpet Hymn Duets stayed very close to the original harmonies of the hymn. Please listen to the recording to hear the chromaticism and decide if it's too much for yourself.
