Product Description

My Old Kentucky Home was penned by Stephen Foster in 1853 and became the official Kentucky State song in 1923. It was inspired by Harriet Beecher Stowe's book. Uncle Tom's cabin.  Sympathetic to the plight of slaves the original lyrics are usually altered. It's a pretty song and is sung or played every year just before the running of the Kentucky Derby. If you like Stephen Foster watch for my Old Kentucky Suite from which this song was excerpted.
