This arrangement for brass and organ is part of the Chicago Gargoyle Brass and Organ Ensemble "Signature Series." For many, the words "Saint-Saëns" and "organ" just seem to go together, in large part due to the popularity of Symphony #3. This abridged arrangement captures all of the power and grandeur of the final movement (the theme of which was used in the movie 'Babe'). Both organ and brass have ample opportunity to open-up-wide. Suitable for a concert or church service. (It makes a great Postlude!) Performance time, 7:00.This unique and flexible arrangement is designed for brass quintet and organ. However, optional parts are also included for Timpani, Cymbals and Piano (the extra parts sound great, but you may perform this piece to spectacular effect with just brass and organ). The arrangement also includes alternate C Trumpet parts, for that orchestral sound. What even more Saint-Saëns? We have also arranged the Adagio from Symphony #3, which is also available at Sheet Music Plus. Published by Dorm 40 Music, www.dorm40music.com
