1. Any woman, young or old,
Can have a mothers heart.
For theres not a single mold,
For her to do her part.
Women who show charity,
Or calm a troubled soul,
Women with sincerity,
Who keep God as their goal.
2. Any woman, poor or rich,
Can have a mothers heart.
Through righteousness, they enrich,
Through service, they impart,
Relief to all those in need,
And help to those who lack.
For the wandring long they plead,
They gently bring them back.
3. Any woman, anywhere,
Can have a mothers heart.
All who show Gods tender care,
And make the gloom depart.
Those with children of their own,
Who lovingly they raise,
Those who are, for now, alone,
May keep a mothers praise.
