Help! by the Beatles, was the title track of the 1965 album of the same name. It was also the name of the Beatles film released in the same year. Help! was primarily written by John Lennon. In later interviews he admitted that Help! was a subconscious response to the pressures of fame and that commercial pressures had forced the band to record it as an up-tempo pop song rather than a reflective ballad.
This version of Help! is arranged as a duet for two Alto Saxophones.
The range will suit musicians at an intermediate level though the fast tempo and syncopated rhythms will represent a challenge. The overall performance time is around two and a half minutes.
