The Game of Thrones theme plays over the tile sequence in the blockbuster TV series of the same name. The shows producers gave composer Ramin Djawadi express instructions not to use violins or flutes so he wrote the main theme for Cello instead. This version is arranged as a duet for two Cellos.
Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances, or for playing with friends and in music lessons. Both parts enjoy melodic interest. The overall performance time is one minute and forty seconds. Follow the youtube link to hear a full length performance of the Clarinet version of this duet.
Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to help with the 6/8 time signature. This duet will also help develop a strong projected tone and rhythmic momentum.
