Dancing Queen was a huge hit across the world for Abba in 1976, and remains their only No1 in the US. This version is arranged as a duet for two Tenor Saxophones.
Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal concert performances, with both parts enjoying melodic interest. The overall performance time is three and a half minutes.
Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to help with ensemble skills. There are challenging rhythms throughout, though knowing the original song well will help. The sample recording is of the Clarinet and Alto Saxophone version of this duet. The complete youtube performance is from the Clarinet version.
