This composition begins with a 12/8 rock tempo. Although it is written in C, the composition is begins in D Minor. The cello keeps the 12/8 going while the viola and violins become punctuations. The punctuation continues while the first violin plays the melody. At measure 15 the song moves into a 6/8 feel. At measure 34 the song returns to the original 12/8 feel. The composition then splits to where the viola takes on harmony in the 12/8 feel while the violins take on a 6/8 countermelody. A short bridge is created by stacking the violins on top of the viola/cello 12/8 feel. Then it splits again to where Violin II stays with the viola/cello pattern and Violin I goes off on it's own. During this time the first violin folds in the 6/8 melody, creating a pleasant conflict. The song D.C.'s to the original 12/8 content.
