J. S. Bachs Goldberg Variations were first published in 1741 as an Aria and 30 Variations. It was named for Johann Gottlieb Goldberg who was an excellent keyboardist. I have previously published duets for four of the variations which are marked "duo", however, there are eleven other variations which also make good duets for flute and clarinet. This music may be performed either from the score or the separate parts.
