This is a setting of ballet music (Pas de Deux) from Verdi's opera, Jerusalem, Act III. Set for Flute and piano by John Gibson. Verdi and other Italian opera composers did not like to include ballet music in their operas, but if they wanted their piece to be performed in Paris, they were required to write ballet pieces. They are mostly left out of opera performances now, but the music is delightful and worth playing!
