Brahms wrote the Serenade #2 in A Major for winds and strings, minus the violins. Due to the instrumentation, the winds carry most of the melodies and make this a perfect piece to transcribe for all winds. Set for a double wind quintet plus contra bassoon. (2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets in Bb and A, 2 F horns, 2 bassoons, and contra bassoon). This wind ensemble sheet music has five movements and has about 40 minutes of playing time. The audio sample is from the 1st movement.
