Alan Silvestri is one of my favorite movie composers. He composes mainly for the film industry, and wrote fantastic scores for movies like Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, and Night at the Museum, to name a few.
This song comes from, not surprisingly, the cave painting scene from the 3D animated film, The Croods. Done in very typical Silvestri style, it is a very beautiful piece that is great for recitals. This arrangement is for string orchestra - 2 violins, 2 violas, 2 cellos, and bass.
