This piece is a string quartet arrangement of American, England (etc.) traditional nursery rhymes and lullabies that violinist and composer Han-Ki Kim sang for his beloved son while studying at Michigan State University. Han-Ki Kim currently serves as an advisory board member for the Korea Suzuki Association and continues to work on incorporating elements of interest and literary significance into structurally simple nursery rhymes and folk songs, transforming them into effective educational resources. This piece is expected to be a captivating and engaging piece for both performers and audiences. The viola part of this piece is accompanied by a separate sheet music, allowing it to be played by a third violin, enhancing the convenience of ensemble performances. The bowing and fingering notations provided in the score are expected to be a valuable aid to performers.
