A rousing rendition of Lines on Ale by Edgar Allan Poe, written for Men's Chorus, Piano and Percussion. It is believed by some to have been written in 1848 at a tavern in Lowell, Massachusetts. This poem, like many of Poes, feels quite personal. Whats different in this one, in comparison to some of his better-known poems, is that its focusing on the result of Poes sorrow rather than that sorrow itself.
